This package is all encompassing and best suited for first time parents or even experienced parents that would like some childbirth education! No need to take an extra childbirth education course because it’s included in your package.

VIRTUAL BIRTH PLANNING SESSION
This option is ideal for families who don’t need a birth doula present at their birth but want guidance navigating their options. During this virtual planning session, we’ll talk through your questions, review evidence-based choices, and clarify what matters most to you. You’ll leave with a personalized birth plan and the confidence to move forward feeling informed, prepared, and supported.

I’ll always make an effort to work alongside partners in order to help you feel comfortable and supported. Additionally, I will support your parter to support you! I’ll ensure they have what they need to have the best possible experience.

I attend births in all greater Houston area hospitals and birth centers as well as homebirth supported by a midwife.

On average, expectant parents will hire a doula sometime in the second trimester but it’s not uncommon to start doula support as early as the first trimester or as late as the third.
It all depends on when you feel ready for support!

Yes! Your balance is due before your first prenatal appointment at around 32 weeks. Your invoice is flexible and allows for partial payments in any increment. You choose when and how much.

At this point, doula services are NOT covered through Medicaid and rarely covered through private insurance.
That said, some HSA/FSA plans allow use of funds toward your doula support.
CARROT insurance is a specific offering that some companies offer their employees (check your spouses benefits!). This is an awesome benefit and does cover my services. I AM CARROT certified.
